This High Springs, Florida home exhibits a transformation from builder-grade to tailor-made. Our client envisioned a contemporary whole-home renovation that combined 20th-century inspirations in continuity across the entire space so art deco geometry was used as a unifier in the creation of custom elements like the stepped wood fireplace design, double barrel brass range hood, lighting shapes, archways, drapes, and rugs. A feminine color palette was established to reflect the personality and sensibilities of the empty-nest owner; pendants and sconces were designed from scratch to color-match paint colors found in other places of the home. Brass, glossy tile, and mirror finishes were employed in harmony to infuse a touch glam our client was after! The woodwork in the guest bedrooms was designed to give visitors a hotel-adjacent sense of comfortable belonging.
